Story Behind This Article
The tray is an antique and steals the show at grand suppers. Humayun, the second Mughal ruler of India spent a large part of his life in Iran. From there he brought the royal idea of serving his typical Persian food and beverages on hand crafted trays. These inlay trays became extremely appealing and eye-catching for the subjects. Local Craftsmen from the era started inheriting its designs to make such trays which are now being used in many houses of India
